Do you think, if your child asked to sign up for an activity, that if it were to fall on the other parent's?

My separated parents never argued over petty stuff like this. They did what they had to to keep things normal for me. My mom signed me up for gymnastics- the class was on my weekday evening court ordered visit with dad- he had no issues taking me, or attending all of the meets whether it was his scheduled time with me or not.
