What's it mean if I crave intimacy?

I'd give anything right now to have someone to cuddle with and kiss and just hold on and have emotions for. I don't know why, summer time is when I should feel free and happy, instead I am feeling a tad bit physically needy. I was just laying in bed and thinking how nice it'd be to have a man to lay with.
