Is it okay to have murky water in our tadpole aquarium?

We bought 3 tadpoles yesterday. They gave us algae tabs for them to eat and told us to feed them once in the morning and once in the evening. However, the aquarium has gotten murky. Should I clean the tank out? Should I be feeding them less?
