Title of this novel..?

I had a book years ago. It was a romance novel, but thicker than the harlequin ones. The back cover was bright yellow with cherries on it. The content of the novel was about a plus size woman who's father (?) Berated her. A rich man started an affair with her and he dressed her in great clothes. I believe I read this book around 5 years ago? Does anyone know the title, and the author? Thanks
