Why don't my parents trust me?

Because they're narrow-minded, paranoid prudes trying to force their beliefs on you. Your feelings clearly don't matter to them. When you have parents like that, no amount of talking to them will get them to see you point of view and give you more freedom. There's a difference between PROTECTING your kids and REPRESSING them. Your parents are repressing you.
