3 fish in a 10 gallon aquarium, can I change the water less frequently?

I have a 10 gallon tropical aquarium with 2 Rasbora Heteromorpha Danios which are less than one inch long and an algae eater that is about two inches long at most. I usually have been doing 25% water changes once a month-that is when I had more fish in the tank. Now that there are only three fish can water changes be done every other month?
