So in society it's wrong to hit women?

It doesn't matter what she says to him, if its just verbal, he shouldn't hit her. However, if she's physically hitting him and physically attempting to harm him, he has a human right to defend himself. While he *should* scale back and not punch her all out, that's still hard to demand when in a situation where he is being hit.
