How to de-stress your emotional pain?

why on earth would you ever hang out with people that make you feel bad about yourself? they could be jealous or just bitches.... either way if you were my friend theres no way i would deliberatley say thinsg to make you feel bad about yourself especially if i could see that it bothered you. i mean some people are naturally abrasive but gosh...if it feels like bullying its gone too far. you must be in your teens...its hard to have good self esteem when you constantly measure yourself to those around you. its not a worthwile process to belittle yourself and it isnt worth it to be friends with people who belittle you. self concious people tend to put too much emphasis on what others think of them and allow themselves to be defined and evaluated by others opinions on who they are. as you get older, you will start to know who you are and the self consiousness will dissapate...as for now....i think the best thing to do is to make yourself feel good about who what and how you are. practice self affirmations... find an outlet creatively...and appreciate your quirks like your frizzy awesome hair cause it makes you YOU! i can tell you are such a pretty girl just by your default :) exercising always helps me release steam as does writing in my journal, poems, making art... it also helps to turn your focus outward onto others such as volunteering or just concerning yourself with the people in your life and helping them so that your not so focused on your problems. focus more on your personality, spirit and what you have to offer from inside you... cultivate it, recognize it, acknowledge it and LOVE YOURSELF. you are alive, you are beautiful, you are worthy and most of all you are young. dont waste a moment of your youth being unhappy about your appearance, its a waste completely...oh and if you can get a dog that would be a plus! dogs always make a person feel better thats why they are mans best friend! best of luck to you!
