Will speech-writing give me this type of life one day?

People typically write their own speeches for weddings and funerals. Most (if not all) speech writers work for politicians or corporations. There are some highly paid speech writers, like the ones that work for the US president, but there are very, very few of those jobs. You could potentially make more than $100k per year (a lot) but you could also make a third of that (not that much).
